) were tenant farmers. Their property of 100 acres was called "New Barn Farm", which was worked as an orchard, and employed 7 labourers. The farmhouse is still there, but part of the farm is now Swanley Park. There is also a report that Newbarn Farm has been developed for housing. The 1841 Census showed Thomas & Ann at New Barn, with children Hannah (20), Thomas (18), John (15), George (14), Sophia (12), Isabella (8), & Joseph Oliver, son of a worker. Isabella later married Joseph. The 1851 Census showed Hannah, Thomas, George and Isabella still at the farm, (with their parents ?). The address is:- New Barn Farm House, New Barn Road, Swanley, Kent. There is also a home called The Bungalow at the same address. Thomas & Ann became members of the Eynsford Baptist Church on 3/7/1803. They are both buried in the churchyard, plot E74. All 13 of their children are recorded in the church records, and are also recorded in Dr. William's Library. 8
