Mrs. Lydia A. Southerton
Funeral services for Mrs. Lydia A. Southerton, 24 Burtis ave., Highwood, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the chapel at 1913 Sheridan Rd., with the Rev. Darrell Sample of Wesley Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in Northshore Garden of Memories. (North Chicago, IL).
Mrs. Southerton died Jan 22 in the tuberculosis sanatorium in Waukegan, after an illness of five years. She was born June 18, 1880 in Chicago, and had lived in Highwood over 46 years. She was a member of the Royal Neighbors of America. Surviving are her husband, Benjamin; two sons, Leslie, 684 Glenview ave.; and Ralph of Deerfield; and six grandchildren
